Synoptic making a splash in the renewable energy sector after recent high-grade IP infrastructure deployments for SuperNode & NTR.

Based in Dublin, SuperNode was set up in 2018 to develop superconducting cable systems to transfer bulk power, integrating renewable energy, and properly connecting markets. The superconducting technology is more efficient, more environmentally friendly, and less costly than other available options.

Founded in 1978 to develop and operate Ireland's first toll bridge, NTR plc has diversified throughout the last three decades to become a renewable energy investor and asset manager. To date, NTR has developed, constructed, and operated 2.7GW of renewable energy projects.

"With the renewable energy sector growing at an unprecedented pace companies like SuperNode & NTR have had their comms infrastructure requirements significantly grow. Synoptic met with both companies to dig deep into what the immediate and future requirements were looking like, we designed and deployed high-grade infrastructure which included strong resilience by installing primary fibre DIA circuits and backup microwave DIA circuits for each client. Both organisations are now ready for whatever potential growth is to come and have a network deployed that is both diverse and scaleable". - Rod Walsh, Sales Director- Synoptic

After meeting with the team at Synoptic it became evident early on that we were in the hands of very experienced and capable individuals, they fully understood our requirements and were able to design an IP infrastructure that is future-proofed and has built-in diversity. It's been a pleasure to work with the team and I would have no problem recommending them to any organisation looking to bring its telecom infrastructure to the next level". Nicola Baker - Office Manager - NTR
